Create military glory , build world peace.The 7th world military games kicked off Monday night in wuhan , hubei province.Xi jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of China and chairman of the central military commission, attended the opening ceremony and declared the games open .

The 7th world military games is the first comprehensive international military sports event hosted by China and the largest international sports event held by China after the Beijing Olympic Games.More than 9,300 military athletes from 109 countries will compete in the jiangcheng city of wuhan to promote friendship .

Defense and military leaders from 42 countries  were invited to attend the opening ceremony .

Sun chunlan, President of the organizing committee of the 7th world military games, member of the Political   Bureau  of  the  CPC Central Committee and vice premier of the State Council, and ding xuexiang, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee,  member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central   Committee and  director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee attended the opening ceremony.

The world military games is the world military sports council sponsored by the highest standards of large-scale comprehensive games.The seventh world military games set up military pentathlon, naval pentathlon, air force pentathlon, orienteering, parachuting and other 27 events , 329 events competition.The seventh world military games will close on October 27.
